Who knew that at 2am that morning, Megan and I were two crazy wrecks working on last-minute studio preparations?! I am so happy with the final result. Here we are in front of the building on 23 Main Street in Sparta, NJ. I hope to keep growing.

It was perfect night on Friday – the moon was nearly full, the weather was warm and mild – the quintessential summer night. I don’t know what it is about summer nights……………….I always loved them. My son came to me on a summer night. Everything happens on a summer night it seems.

Anyway,  our collection for the troops in Afghanistan was a huge success! Thanks to everybody who contributed something. What a cool way to turn our own celebration into something that helps others who are helping us!

There was so much love and support around us that evening. I feel very blessed. My little guy was running around like a madman on a sugar high! Children and adults both were laughing and smiling. I nearly forgot what the party was about.

Cloveberry provided the delicious snacks and they are just too cool. (They even chilled the wine).
