As an Upper Valley and Keene family photographer, I get to witness so many tiny lovely moments between families. I really adored this family photo session in Keene recently. The light was so beautiful and soft and the warm neutral colors were the perfect backdrop for this family’s love.

Life is not always easy and being a parent is hard work a lot of the time (getting my son out the door to school in the morning is a testament to that!), but the bond between parents and children is an incredible force.

The sacrifices are outweighed by moments of gratitude and joy. I realize that this time is fleeting. One day, the kids will be grown and moved out of the house. Life is so dynamic. I am so passionate about capturing people’s stories during a small moment in time. It’s those tiny moments, stacked one on top of the other, that make a life.

Being an Upper Valley and Keene family photographer, I try to capture those tiny beautiful moments within the larger picture. I hope that when people look at their pictures, year after year, that joy and contentment returns in that moment. <3
