As an Upper Valley family, baby, and child photographer, it was such a joy to do this in-home lifestyle newborn photo session, right here in Lebanon, NH. I loved how big sister really took to the baby and it all seemed so symbolic, with the daffodils emerging and spring beginning, bringing a sense of new life and birth. It really is my favorite time of year! And I really enjoyed this sweet outdoor family photo session with the new baby.
As a newborn baby and family photographer here in Lebanon, NH, I really love traveling to people’s homes to do lifestyle portraiture after they have had their baby. The super posed stuff is cool and all but I don’t think it will stand the test of time for most of my clients. I want to have images that will be relevant a generation later, or 2 or 3. And I also want to evoke all those memories that new parents have in the very beginning. I feel like the imagery is more beautiful and authentic, and evocative.
